Sikkim’s Ecclesiastical Affairs Department dates the founding of the Dharma Chakra Centre to 1962; the TNG Centre records completion in 1966. It is a centre of Karma Kagyu learning. Old Rumtek, a separate nearby site, dates to 1734.
